Screw spigots into base plates. The centre hole in the baseplate is the safest. Ensure that the counter sunk holes face the floor so the bolt does not protrude.

Slide uprights over spigots. When setting up a line of rigging it is easiest to lay out the crossbars on the floor so the row of bases can be located accurately.

Once crossbars have been inserted, you are now ready to loosely hang your drapes.

Carefully throw the drape over the crossbar to avoid lifting the drape.

Beginning from the end, loosely hang the drapes by a few of the Velcro tabs.

Tie the Velcro ties, leaving approximately 150mm of drape width to hide your first upright. Keep the  Velcro as tight as possible.

Once at the end of the crossbar either continue onto the next crossbar or finish off by tying the drape around the upright.

You are now ready to extend the uprights to the desired height. Extend one upright at a time in small increments, until you have reached the desired height.

To release the lock, raise the inner pole slightly and lift the release ring. For safety hold the inner pole firmly while raising or lowering the height.

The Staging Company recommends that rigging set above 5m have at least 1 x 10kg shotbag on the base.
